DUCK POND RESTORATION
Work on the duck pond began on August 5, 2008 and was completed in the
first week in October 2008. The duck pond reconstruction will install a
new rubber liner, change the shape to encourage better and increased
water flow, and replace the muddy banks of the duck pond with large
flag stone.
Most of the heavy work of removing material and draining the pond
occurred prior to the return of the student population, while more of
the fine detail was taken care of as the project progresses. This
project affected the flow of pedestrian traffic along 11th Avenue.
